Cremation Services
Cremation is when the body is subject to high temperatures of heat (1400°F- 2200°F) and is reduced to bone fragments or cremains. The bone fragments are then swept into a pulverizer (cremulator) which reduces them to powder (often called ash, which is why some call the cremains ashes).
There are many reasons to choose cremation, some of them being simplicity, financial restraints or flexibility for the ceremonies. The final disposition choices are burial, permanent possession or scattering. Prices effective January 1, 2007.
