Obituary of Alice Faye Boyce Shockley

Alice Faye Boyce Shockley, 60, of Selbyville passed away in the care of Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD on June 5, 2017.  She was born on January 22, 1957 to the late Lorenzo L., and Jeanette Collins Boyce in Seaford, Delaware.  She was a waitress, working in several local restaurants.  She liked to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved the soap operas as a pastime.  She was family oriented, and it is easy to say that her family was her hobby and career.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Johnnie Shockley, and two children: Daniel Robbins, and his wife Andrea, of Dagsboro, DE; and Julie Franklin, of Selbyville.  She was preceded by a beloved son, Ronald Robbins in 1984.  She is also survived by three brothers: Robert Boyce, Sr. and his wife Patsy, of Dagsboro, DE; Bryan Boyce, and his wife Sandy, of Frankford; and Ebben Boyce, of Dagsboro.

There are many wonderful grandchildren, who she adored; especially special to her were Jeanette Alberts; Ronald Alberts; and Daniel Robbins, Jr.  Additionally, she is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who she adored.

A Celebration of Her Life  will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the  Elks Lodge, 12560 US 113, Bishopville, MD  21813 from 3 PM – 6 PM. Pastor Robert Boyce  will officiate.
