Sylvester Calvin Bratton , 74, of Millsboro, Delaware passed away on April 6, 2010.
Mr. Bratton was born on February 21, 1936 to the late Wallace and Viola Broughton Bratton in Frankford, Delaware. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Willie and Stanford and a sister, Dorothy.
Mr. Bratton was a supervisor with Kraft General Foods for 32 years and also the local Barber in the Frankford area. He was a Vietnam Era veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Georgetown, Delaware. Mr. Bratton was a good man, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He had lots of friends and family. He loved his family and the family loved him. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Bratton is survived by his wife of twenty years, Alice M. Bratton,
5 Sons, Sylvester Beckett and his wife Jessica of North Carolina, Jeffrey Bratton of Frankford, DE, Patrick O'Brien and his wife Queen of Frankford, DE, Alfred Timothy Bratton and his wife Vanessa of Frankford, DE.,and Lorenzo Bernard Sturgis of Millsboro, DE, 3 Daughters, Wanda Wyatt and her husband Clarence of Seaford, De., Geraldine Matthews and her husband Leroy, Jr., of Millsboro De., and Melissa Bailey of Salisbury, Md, 6 Brothers, Alvin, Calvin, Daryl, Alfonso, Pervis and William, 5 Sisters, Bertha, Ardessa, Virginia, Cathy and Christine.
11 Sisters-in-law, 7 Brothers-in-law, his mother-in-law Adelaide Bailey and many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 12:30 P.M. at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. where friends may call 1 hour prior. Internment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, Delaware.
