Garneski, Philip Charles

Philip Charles Garneski, 48, of Milton, DE (formerly of Wilmington) passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at home. Born August 2, 1961 he was the son of Mr. Francis X. Garneski and the late Alice Mae Costango Garneski. He was a retired pipe insulator, having worked with the Union Pipefitters. He was a well loved son, brother and husband. He left us too soon, at an early age. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Debra, his brother Francis X. Garneski, Jr., and his wife Karen. He is also survived by his sisters: Stella Callanan, Thease Wierzbicki, and Sarah M. Garneski-Bleyer and his best friend, Don Zakrociemski. He had a large family with many nieces, nephews and extended family. Philip was well known in the community, and will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, and a sister, Linda. Services, arrangements and interment are private.
