Clogg, Thelma A.

Thelma Almiria Bunting Clogg, 87,of Dagsboro, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010. She was the daughter of Jobie B. and Delphia Gray Bunting, of Bishopville, Maryland. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Russell Thomas (Pete) Clogg; 2 granddaughters, Melissa Ann Webb, 1969, and Heidi Elizabeth Bunting, 1980; 2 sisters, Beatrice B. Megee, Elsie B. Smith; and brother Harry L. Bunting; and grand-son-in-law, Scott A. Quillen. Thelma is survived by her daughters, Connie C. Webb and husband, Richard and Sara C. Bunting and her husband Ellison; grandchildren Karen S. Carey (Howard) Keith A. Bunting (Glenda), and Tara W. Quillen; 3 great grandchildren Delaney K. Quillen, Caroline E. Bunting and Benjamin A. Bunting and her sister Patsey B. Dean of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews; Her special caretakers, Inez Davis, Ruby Garrison, Regina McCray, Annie Ford, Miss Billy, her life-long neighbor, Henrietta Daisey; Nurse Nancy and those at Compassionate Care.

She was a life long member of Christ United Methodist Church and Bethal United Methodist Cuhrch of Dagsboro; past member of Dagsboro Republican Club. Services will be held at Watson Funeral Home 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Delaware on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM, where friends may call on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 6 - 8 PM and on Wednesday from Noon - 1:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Joseph Barth will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church PO Box 147 Dagsboro, Delaware 19939, or Compassionate Care Hospice 31038 Country Gardens Blvd., Suite D2, Dagsboro, Delaware 19939.
