Simmons, Anthony Tony

Anthony Robert Richard Simmons "Tony", age 48 of Millsboro, Delaware passed away on July 23, 2010 at home. Tony was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Millsboro, AM Vets, and Pot Nets Home Owners Association. He had been a manager in Plastics Manufacturing. He enjoyed fishing crabbing, rebuilding things, and was always busy. He was a loving and caring person who was always there for anyone who was in need. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Francis & Ella Louise Gray Simmons. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Denise Simmons, brother, John Simmons and wife Sondra of Wilmington, De, sisters Patricia Salkowitz of Seaford, De, Linda Harvey of Lewes, De., step sister Jeanne Banks of Boothwyn, Pa. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, and extended family and friends also survive him. His beloved canine friend and adopted "son" and best friend, Baby Blue, also survive him. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday July 30, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Watson Funeral Home 211 South Washington Street Millsboro, Delaware where friends may call one hour prior. Deacon Don Carroll will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Denise L. Simmons 22842 Pine Rd. Lewes, Delaware 19958 to help offset medical and funeral expenses.
