This package is designed as a group of discounted services, merchandise, staff and equipment to provide a complete funeral at our funeral home or in another location such as a Church, Community Hall or Fire Station. The cost of this discounted package is based upon a weekday service. If the funeral is to be held on a Saturday or Sunday, the weekend charge will apply. No substitutions, or changing of the merchandise items is permitted if this plan is chosen. This requirement helps us to keep the cost of the package low.

For $2,870.00, this package includes:
Basic services of the funeral director and staff
Transfer of remains
Other preparation of the body
Transfer of the remains to the crematory
Return of cremated remains to the funeral home for the return to the family
Use of vehicles and a minimal cremation casket

Our fee also includes a one hour private ID viewing for the immediate family, allowing family members time to pay their final respects to the deceased in the privacy of the funeral home. The crematory fee is also included in this price and provision of a basic urn to safely hold the cremated remains after the cremation is completed. This package is discounted $719.00 from the regular general price list itemization.

Our $3,455.00 charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes basic services of funeral director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery and a concrete grave box. Also includes a cloth covered fiberboard casket. Does not include cash advance charges by the vault company, death certificates, or grave opening fee.

Payment is due at time of services, unless other arrangements are made. Watson Funeral Home accepts cash, credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) and insurance assignments.

In the case of filing insurance assignments, there are no charges from Watson Funeral Home for this service, however there are feeds involved that are from the processing company that handles the insurance assignment.

Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company processes all the insurance work for Watson Funeral Home, and their fee for this service is 3% or $75.00 per insurance policy, whichever is greater. If you choose to pay for the funeral using insurance policies, our staff will be happy to discuss this option with you during the arrangement conference.

Financing is available for those who qualify, allowing for monthly payments. If you wish to inquire about this program, please consult with the funeral director.

Special packages are available in case of financial hardship. If you are in need of assistance, please discuss this with the funeral director at the time of your arrangement conference.

Accounts that are in arrears for more than 45 days will be filed with the Estate of the deceased in accordance with the policies of the Register of Wills Office for payment.
