Andrew T. Parsell
Managing Partner, Licensed Funeral Director - DE
Andrew T. Parsell is a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. In 2010 he became a Delaware Licensed Funeral Director, after completing his resident internship with Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium. He now serves as a funeral director and is Vice President for Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium. He is a member of St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church in Lewes; former member of the Lewes Volunteer Fire Department, Inc; served as President of the Delaware Funeral Directors Association for the 2015-2016 term. Like his father, Keith Parsell, he is currently in his first term of appointment to the Delaware State Board of Funeral Services by Governor John Carney. In his free time he excels as an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter.
Johnathan Parsell
Partner, Financial Advisor
Johnathan grew up in the family business, learning many aspects of the funeral industry. He currently oversees the financial operations of the company and assists with general management.
His previous experience includes working in financial services as a Registered Representative for some of the largest and most well-known mutual fund and financial advising companies.
He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Operations Management from the University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Drexel University.
Johnathan has served as a Director on the Cadbury Foundation Board of Directors and is a former member of the Lewes Volunteer Fire Department. In his spare time, Johnathan enjoys time with his wife and daughters as well as exploring new cities and cuisines with his wife and spending time outside with his Australian Labradoodle, Cannoli.

Carson Bozman
Licensed Funeral Director - DE/MD
Carson is a licensed funeral director who joined our firm in February 2023 and is licensed to practice in the states of Delaware and Maryland. Originally from Salisbury, MD, he graduated from Catonsville Community College of Baltimore County with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education in 2017. He worked as a licensed Funeral Director in the state of Maryland.
He and his wife, Angela, are the parents of Zachary and Claire Bozman. He enjoys golfing, going to the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.

Bob Stuart
Funeral Home Associate
Robert A. Stuart is a dedicated individual with a diverse background in public safety and funeral services. Currently working as a funeral home associate at Watson Funeral Home, Robert previously served as a funeral director and paramedic with Sussex County EMS before his retirement. With a total of 35 years in public safety, including roles at Diamond State Telephone Co. and AT&T, as well as 15 years in the funeral service industry, Robert has a wealth of experience in serving his community.
Robert is a proud graduate of Indian River High School, class of 1972, and holds an Associate Degree from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's Degree from Columbia Southern University. In his free time, Robert enjoys yard work and spending time with his family. He has been happily married to Celine for 20 years and is a loving father to three children and a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren.
Kade Bullock
Funeral Home Associate
Kade Bullock is a lifelong Sussex County resident raised in Millsboro, Delaware. He embarked on a career at Watson Funeral Home in 2022, where he now serves as a surgical room assistant, funeral home associate, and removal technician, showcasing his diverse skill set and dedication to his work.
Kade's academic achievements include earning a Bachelor's degree in history and criminal justice from East Carolina University in 2023. Currently, Kade is furthering his education at Des Moines Area Community College, working towards a degree in mortuary science.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Kade enjoys spending his free time engaging in various outdoor activities such as volleyball, soccer, and golf. He also finds joy in playing basketball, listening to music, visiting the beach, and cherishing moments with his family. In his downtime, Kade can be found enjoying video games with friends and exploring new destinations through travel.
Kade values his close-knit family, including his parents, Kim and Wyatt Bullock, as well as his “siblings”; his sister, Saige, and his beloved dog, Dewey.
Debbie Hickman
Office Assistant
Debbie Hickman is a compassionate individual who dedicates herself to making the lives of others a little easier. With 34 years at Delmarva U.F.C.W. Health and Welfare Fund, she has played a crucial role in providing medical insurance coverage to unionized poultry company employees. Currently, Debbie serves as an administrative office assistant at Watson Funeral Home, bringing her dedication and expertise to her new position. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, boating, engaging in outdoor activities, playing with her beloved grandson, and exploring new destinations through travel.
Having been previously married for 34 years before her husband's passing, Debbie finds immense joy and pride in her 3-year-old grandson, who holds a special place in her heart. She shares a wonderful relationship with a gentleman named Tom and has lived her entire life in Dagsboro, Delaware.
Meagan Moore
Office Assistant
Meagan’s journey began in 2014 as a vet tech, where she honed her skills and love for animals until 2018. She then transitioned into the intricate world of pet cremation, expanding her expertise and commitment to serving both pets and their owners. In 2021, while eagerly awaiting the arrival of her daughter Natalie, Meagan worked as a technician at Coastal Veterinary, further enriching her knowledge and experience in the field.
In 2024, she returned to work for the Parsell family at Watson Funeral Home, this time as an office assistant, bringing her unique blend of compassion and professionalism to her role in supporting families during their time of loss.
Meagan resides in Delmar with her husband Trey, daughter Natalie, and their cherished pets – two dogs: Jolene and Preston; and Cassidy, the sweetest cat. She finds solace in life's simple pleasures, such as summer crabbing, tending to her garden, and looks forward to yearly fall weekend trips to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Stephanie Hughes
Funeral Hostess
Stephanie Hughes is a Funeral Hostess at Watson Funeral Home & Crematorium in her hometown of Millsboro, Delaware. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education and a Master of Education in Counseling. Stephanie spent 32 years as an elementary teacher and counselor at East Millsboro Elementary School before joining Watson Funeral Home in 2019.
Returning to Millsboro after college, Stephanie and her husband, R.L. Hughes, have built a life and family here. They have two daughters: Katie, a paramedic living in Millsboro with her husband Trent Hill, and Julie, who works for the federal government in Washington, D.C.
When asked about her role at Watson Funeral Home, Stephanie states, “The funeral hostess position has allowed me to continue serving the community in which I grew up and established many lifelong relationships through my 32-year career in the Indian River School District. I think it is important to see a welcoming familiar face when attending services at Watson Funeral Home. I am happy that I can provide that service to all families.” Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, beach vacations, reading, shopping, and mentoring students.
