Alvin is survived by his wife of nine years, Ruth Conaway of Georgetown, DE; two children; Diane Conaway Rogers and her companion Bob Lingo of Georgetown, DE and Kenny Conaway and his wife Peggy of Georgetown, DE; a step-daughter, Alicia Renee` Stockwell and her husband Bruce of Port Richey, FL; a sister, Dorothy Mae Smith and her husband David of Bridgeville, DE and a brother, Granville Conaway and his wife Dorothy of Georgetown, DE.   He also leaves behind four grandsons: Troy Rogers, Shawn Rogers,  K.C. Conaway and Timmy Rogers; fourteen great grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren.  He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
