Life Story of Ella Marie Boone
Ella Marie Boone, 60, of Selbyville, departed this life on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ella Marie, daughter of Ella Mae and Clarence Williams, was born on November 28, 1958 in Whaleyville, Maryland.
She received her public education at Selbyville Middle and the Indian River High School Districts. However, she received her Graduate Equivalency Diploma from the Adult Education Program in Berlin, Maryland. Ella was employed within the Perdue Poultry Processing Division in North Carolina for many years as well as Mountaire Poultry in Selbyville, DE. She was also employed by the Head Start Program in Berlin and later served in the Atlantic General Hospital cafeteria in Berlin, Maryland for nineteen years before retiring in 2016.
Ella was always a happy spirited person who shared her laughter with many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter which was her pride and joy.
Ella was united in Holy matrimony to David Boone. She was a devoted member of Spirit of Excellence Deliverance Church in Dagsboro, Delaware under the leadership of Bishop Gloria and Pastor Ronnie Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Ella Marie was preceded in death by three siblings; Clarence Williams, Jr., Navada Tingle and Ronald Hall.
Those left to cherish her memory are two children: Stephon Blount and Davenie Boone (Rodney) both of Sumter, SC., a granddaughter Syria Agim. Five sisters; Alice Price (Kendall) of Berlin, MD., Ernestine Tindal of Millsboro, DE., Sallie Showell (Drayton) of Bear, DE., Gloria Johnson(Ronnie) of Millsboro, DE., Marcella Williams of Selbyville, DE. Three brothers: Melvin Williams of Hemet, CA., Stanford Williams of Berlin, MD., and John Williams (Daphne) of Selbyville, DE. Two favorite nieces, Regina Baine and Monikki Williams and a favorite great niece, McKenzie and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, DE. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Pastor Ronnie Johnson will officiate. Final disposition is private.
