Obituary

Lucy “Lucia” Helen Marciniec passed away quietly at her home in Georgetown, DE on April 7, 2022.  She was 76 years old.  She was born on March 7, 1946, in Wiesbaden, Germany, the daughter of both Victor Moskalonek and Antonina Pavlenko.  She was also a wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and a friend to many.  During retirement she loved to cook, read, walk, and socialize with friends in her neighborhood.

Lucy leaves behind her husband of 56 years Bruno, sons: Ryan, his wife Sandra, James, his wife Rebecca, and Mark, grandsons: Gustavo and Aidan, her brother Edward, his wife Barbara, along with nieces and nephews: Joan and Carol Marciniec, John, Diane, and Frank Chorazy, Michele and Christoph Moskalonek, and best friends: Celina, Gene, Helga, and Carl, along with many other friends.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring woman who was known to speak her mind and devoted to her family.  She was a gracious host and always willing to help those in need.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
