Built in 1920 as the Katherine Washburn White house, the building that now serves as the Watson Funeral Home has been carefully maintained to ensure the quaint ambience of the original home and thoughtfully updated with modern amenities for the families we serve.
Outside you will be greeted by a beautifully manicured lawn with flower gardens and benches, a perfect place to sit and reflect with family and friends.
Once inside you will be welcomed into our receiving parlor which is framed by a fireplace and mantle and our cathedral clock, built circa 1840. Our memorial chapel accommodates up to 175 people with a state-of-the-art sound system and a flat screen monitor for personalized DVD tributes. Furthermore, in the ongoing endeavor to better serve our families, in 2010 we completed renovations in our arrangement and selection room which now features a consumer friendly display of caskets, urns and burial vaults as well as a wide selection of other memorialization keepsakes.
Whether you are looking for a facility to have an intimate family gathering or a large public memorial, we invite you to visit Watson Funeral Home and let us discuss all of your service options.
