BEVERLY JEAN PUSEY's Obituary
Beverly Jean Pusey of Dagsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. She was 67 years old. Beverly was born on August 21, 1944 to the late Frank and Myrtle W. Collins West. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Virgil Pusey in 1996 and a son, Virgil Pusey, Jr. in 1968. She worked at various places in the area including Townsends and also the Dairy Queen that was once in Georgetown. She was a very strong headed woman, a West, no wonder! She was a loving mother of 4 children, superb grandmother and great grandmother not only to her own but also all the children she came in contact with. She was a wonderful sister and can be described as having a heart of gold. She loved to collect Elvis memorabilia, crochet and sew. She is survived by three children; Teresa Pusey and her fiancAC. Keith Madron of Dagsboro, DE; James E. Pusey and his wife Belinda of Laurel, DE; Charlotte Tyre and her husband David W. Sr. of Georgetown; a sister, Wanda Lee Fisher and her husband Edward L. of Long Neck, DE; brother, Thomas Franklin West and his wife Grace of Seaford, DE; 11 grandchildren; David Wayne, Donna Marie, Victoria Dawn, Hunter Allen, Jason, April, James, Jr., Greg Allen, Jessica Lynn, Samuel and Sean Ryan; 16 great grandchildren. Also survived by special friends, Debbie Tharp, Alice, Iona Derrickson, Eleanor Phippin and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends across the area. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Cupola Park, Millsboro, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to help offset funeral expenses in care of James Lathbury, P.O. Box 1522, Millsboro, DE 19966.
