Albert Neal Fleshman's Obituary
Mr. Albert N. Fleshman of Greenwood, DE passed away peacefully in the care of his family on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. He was 89 years old.
Mr. Fleshman was born in Sun, WV to the late Frank P. and Sylvia M. Wiseman Fleshman. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his twins Darrell and Carroll Fleshman and his son Mark Fleshman, a step-son Frank Wilkerson, a grandson Fillip Wilkerson and a granddaughter, April Simmons.
Albert was retired from Kopper's Corporation where he worked as a road serviceman. He served our country in the United States Navy. Albert was a member of Blackwater Fellowship Church. He enjoyed being with family and friends and talking about the Lord. He wanted to make sure you were saved and that you were going to Heaven. He loved to Hunt when he was able and being outdoors, tinkering around, building something, mowing, planting gardens, trees (Crape Myrtles) and flowers (Roses and Lilies), his favorite hobbies were watching old Western movies and sitting outside in his swing, drinking a hot cup of Joe and smoking on his stogie.
He is survived by his devoted wife of seven years, Sylvia Fleshman of Greenwood, DE; a daughter, Judith Auman and a son, Timothy N. Fleshman both of Blue Springs, MO. He is also survived by five step-children: Jackie Ruskey of Baltimore, MD; Michael Howington, of Baltimore, MD; Burt Wilkerson (Linda) of Laurel, DE; David Alan Wilkerson (Loretta) of Fruitland, MD and Sylvia M. Casteel (Greg) of Hemet, CA. Albert also leaves behind seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren plus one on the way as well as several step grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM for viewing and visitation. Interment will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV.
