Albert Vincent Phillips, Sr.'s Obituary
Albert Vincent Phillips, Sr., of Seaford, DE, passed away peacefully at his home on September 6, 2025, at the age of 90. He was born in Gumboro, DE, on January 15, 1935, son of the late Henry C. and Addie (King) Phillips.
Albert dedicated his life to working in the poultry industry, where his hard work and commitment were well known. Outside of work, he found joy in attending horse shows and spending time at yard sales, always enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Mary Phillips, the love of his life; his son, Thomas Phillips; one brother; five sisters; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Albert is survived by his loving children: Ellen Smith, Mary Wallace (Paul), Albert Phillips, Jr. (Tammy), Beverly Wells (Ben), and Anna Rossington (Mark). He will also be dearly missed by his 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. His faithful canine companion, Tater, also survives him.
A Celebration of Life for Albert will be announced at a later date by the family.

Albert’s legacy is one of hard work, devotion to his family, and love for the little things that brought him happiness. He will be remembered warmly and missed deeply.
