Obituary of Allan Joseph Richmond
Allan Joseph Richmond, of Millsboro, DE passed away at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE on January 13, 2017. He was 81 years of age. Allan was born in Becket, Massachusetts on September 19, 1935 to the late Allan J. and Leona C. Thompson Richmond. He married Shirley Marwine on December 23, 1954 and together they raised four children. He became a Paint Inspector for, and retired from General Motors after serving in the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Richmond, of Millsboro; and two sons: Michael Richmond, and his wife Lynn, of Newark, DE; and Robert Richmond, of Tennessee. Also surviving him, are his three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by two sons: Larry Richmond; and Allan Richmond, Jr.
Arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Beebe Hospital, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
