We have so many wonderful memories of André. He was one of our, especially my mom’s, favorite people in the world. Pete just said, “your mother would still be weeping”. I know he is right! I like to think Carole was waiting for him in heaven, with a Rob Roy or a dry vodka martini in hand! Anyone who reads this obituary will see what an incredible humanitarian and true American hero Andre’ was. Not to mention his kindness, friendship and verve for life! His laugh was hearty and contagious. His love for his family voracious and deep. His marriage to Sally was beautiful and joyful; a love story for the ages. Andre’ lived life well and to the fullest. He will be so very missed but leaves behind a lifetime of memories for us all to treasure. We all loved him dearly. Our deepest condolences to Sally, Andy, Patti, Louise, Carl and the kids. How lucky you were to be his immediate family! May the strength of his love for you sustain you during this difficult time.
