Obituary of Mrs. Anna B. Long ""Ann"" Anna B. Long, 92, of Millsboro passed away in the care of her family at home on July 1, 2013. Born in Aldan, Pa to the late Ruth Shannon and Elmer A. Beyer, she was the eldest of 8 children. Ann moved to Delaware in 1938, and retired from Delmarva Power in 1984 after 25 years as secretary to the Superintendent of Indian River Power Plant. She was a member of, and past president of the Indian River Yacht Club, and Delmarva Power Vingt Cinq Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Lawrence W. Clausen, Jr. ""Larry"" in 2003; and Ronald H. Clausen, in 2011 and one sister, 4 brothers, and 2 step-sons. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert H. Long, of Millsboro, DE, a grand-daughter: Lori Ulmer, and her husband John, of Bluffton, S. Carolina; 2 great-grandsons: Nathan and Chase Ulmer; 2 sisters: Ruth Kent of Hartley, DE and Marjorie Tuxward, of Marydel, DE. Also surviving: Sisters-in-law: Alberta Beyer, of Yuma, AZ; Carol Beyer, of Harrington, DE; step-daughter: Ruth Patterson, and husband Pat, of Millsboro, DE and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM, where friends may call one hour prior. Pastor Carol Beyer will officiate. Interment follows in Dagsboro Redmen's Memorial Cemetery.
