ARLENE F HUDSON's Obituary
Mrs. Arlene F. Hudson, of Gumboro, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 6, 2012. She was 65 years old. Arlene was born on December 26, 1946 to the late John C. and Bertha E. Bunting Hudson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Phillips in 1997, and a grandson, Douglas Donahue in 2002. Mrs. Hudson was the office manager for Roses Department Store for many years, but her most recent position was with County Bank, where she was a Call Center Operator and worked in the internet banking department. She loved holiday baking, and daily devotionals. She was devoted to her family and adored her dog Chico. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Jerry Hudson of Gumboro, DE; a daughter, Julie Francois and her husband Francklin of Georgetown, DE; a son, James Truitt, Jr. of Montana; a sister, Carolyn Hudson and her husband Bob of Millsboro, DE; grandchildren, Stephanie Donahue, Jessica Donahue, Jesse Truitt, and Jimmy Truitt, III, and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends across the area. Services will be private.
