Friends for all 46 years I lived in Maryland and friends for the 18 years I have lived in Colorado. Barbara and I were neighbors living in adjacent buildings at Mistletoe Gardens apartments in Laurel, MD. She often invited me to Thanksgiving there.
We served for years as EMTs at the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad. Her husband Jac Ritter was a roommate of mine for a while at Mistletoe Gardens.
I have many memories of driving up to her mother Loraine’s house in Dorsey and visiting with all the Dorsey siblings,
On a number of occasions I drove the ambulance up to Dorsey Speedway on Saturday night for standby duty out in the middle of the figure eight.
We loved Ledo’s pizza together.
I spoke to her just a couple of weeks ago in Delaware. It has been a pleasure to get to know her daughter, Barbara in the past month.
Her mother was a revered friend to me and I extend my deepest condolences to her family. I will never forget her and already miss talking to her.
