BARBARA J PHILLIPS's Obituary
Barbara J. Phillips of Millsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was 75 years old. Mrs. Phillips was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 9, 1938 to the late Frank and Ruth Meyer. Barbara worked as a clerk in the title business. She enjoyed her "Wednesday Club" and was a very sociable person with a lot of personality. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert K. Phillips, two sons, Gregory Phillips of Largo, FL and David Phillips and his wife Susie of Laguna Negual, CA, a sister, Gail Hartzell and four grandchildren. She is also survived by special friends Jerry and Shelby Swain and Chip and Brenda Albright as well as her friends in the ladies club. A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro, DE 19966. Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
