Obituary of Mrs. Betty Ann Peters Betty Ann Peters, 62, of Lewes, DE passed away at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes on July 30, 2013. She was born on March 23, 1951 in Chester, PA to the late James and Anna Thornton. She had worked as a Secretary in one of Beebe Hospital's Outpatient Centers. She loved scrapbooking, knitting, making afghans, was an animal lover, and loved networking. She was good at crafts, and she loved the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, James and her uncle Ed Blome. She is survived by a niece: Lorie Thornton, of Mineral VA, a nephew, James Thornton, of Louisa, VA, her uncle Eugene and aunt Jean Blome, and their daughter, Dorothy. She is also survived by many special friends in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Also, she leaves behind her dear canine friend, ""Abby."" Services and interment are private.
