Obituary of Mrs. Betty Lou Riddle:
Betty Lou Riddle, of Millsboro, DE passed away at her home in the care of her family on September 3, 2016. She was 76 years old. She was born in Lewes, DE on August 26, 1940. She married Robert Lee Riddle, and together they raised three children. She worked in the cafeteria at the Millsboro Middle School while co-owning, and co-operating a farm with her husband. She was a hard worker, who was all about family - especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Riddle. Her parents, Chester Hall and Mildred Townsend hall Scott preceded her. She is also survived by two children: James Riddle, and his wife Michelle, of Millsboro; and Steven Riddle and his wife, Lori, of Millsboro. A son, Robert Lee Riddle, Jr. preceded her in 2000. She is also survived by her best friend and sister: Roselee Flowers, of Millsboro. She was preceded by a brother: James L. Hall. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Zachary, Adam, Dylan, and Ryan Riddle; Hillary Sellers; and Bobbi Jo Tice, along with 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service is planned for Thursday evening September 8, 2016 at 7:00 with a calling hour one hour prior beginning at 6 PM for visitation with the family. Pastor Paul Hall will officiate. Interment is private.
