BETTY BOZETTA STREET's Obituary
Betty B. Street, Homemaker, Home Health Care Provider and devoted Jehovah's Witness died on Saturday, December 12 at the age of 86 at Harbor Health Care of Lewes, DE.
She was the daughter of the late Myrtle Sammons Harmon and Isaac Wilson Harmon. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded by a son, Kerwin D. Street, four siblings, Nelson Harmon, Cecile Coursey, Marian Jackson and Clarence Harmon.
Betty grew up in Riverdale, DE and attended the Nanticoke Indian School of Riverdale, DE and later Richard Allan School of Georgetown, DE. In 1981, Betty received her GED and CNA at Sussex Vocational School in Georgetown, DE.
In 1959, she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and remained so till her death. She was content and happy learning Gods purpose for the earth and his promises for mankind.
She leaves behind one son Joseph Adonis Street of Lewes, DE, along with three grandchildren, Sara Jo Street of Lewes, DE; Jasmyn N. Street and Andrew P. Street of Miramar, FL, as well as six siblings, Eleana Street, June Robbins, Lorraine Prouse, Beatrice Miller, Jan Harmon, and Conrad Harmon all of Millsboro, DE.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where a viewing will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM. Burial will follow at Israel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
