Beverly Ann Eurice's Obituary
Beverly Ann Eurice, Millsboro, DE
October 1, 1948 - December 14, 2022
With deepest regret, the family of Beverly Ann Eurice commends her spirit to the hands of God.
Beverly was born on October 1, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, as the eldest daughter of William "Bill" Beasley and Anne Beasley and beloved sister to Debra Toth (nee Beasley). She attended Reisterstown High School upon graduating in 1966. Some of her favorite memories from her youth were the trips she took with her family to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee, where she spent some of her happiest vacations with her grandmother, "Momma" Ann Waddell.
On April 1, 1969, Beverly joined the "friendly skies" of United Airlines flying coast-to-coast in a profession she adored. Just a few years later, she met her soulmate, Francis Eurice on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. They married April 1, 1972. Fifty years later they celebrated their golden anniversary in Millsboro, Delaware. Fran asked Beverly to marry him again, and they had an impromptu renewal of vows conducted by her sister Debbie.
Beverly and Fran raised two daughters, Jacquelyn and Cristin in Abingdon, Maryland. She will be remembered as a very loving mother who was always available. She often sacrificed her time, energy, and money to give her daughters every possible opportunity and experience they needed to become the strong women she wanted them to be. She was also a positive influence on her beloved granddaughter, Aubrey George. Beverly adored Aubrey from the second she was born in 2016 and doted on her whenever she could.
In the 1990s, her career at United Airlines shifted and she became an International Flight Attendant based out of Dulles. From this time on, she frequently traveled to new places throughout the world with her family. She delighted in exploring places while on a layover and then showing Fran, Jackie, Cristin and Debbie all the hidden gems she had discovered. She was always enthusiastic to try new experiences. In 2010, she retired after serving the airline for over 40 years.
Beverly had the most welcoming smile, patient temperament, and loving personality. Complete strangers felt comfortable in her company, so she easily connected with people. She had many close friends that she met while with the airlines and within her local community-first in Maryland and later in her life when she and Fran moved to Millsboro, Delaware. Her furry canine companions were also an integral part of her life and family. She loved her dogs Baron, Cognac, Dudley, Maverick, Felix, and Oscar.
Beverly has graduated from the first set of wings United gave her in 1969 to the heavenly wings she received on December 14, 2022. Beverly will be sorely missed by her loving husband of 50-years Francis Eurice, her two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacquelyn Eurice-Kenney and Stephen Kenney, Cristin Eurice-George and Christopher George, her granddaughter Aubrey George, and her sister and brother-in-law Debra and Paul Toth.
A memorial ceremony will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Lewes, Delaware on April 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM. In remembrance of Beverly, donations in her name can be made to your local SPCA. Her family would like to thank her friends and loved ones for the outpouring of support they have shown during this very difficult time and ask that you continue to keep her in your heart.
