Billy Harold Baker's Obituary
Mr. Billy H. Baker of Fenwick Island, DE passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was 88 years old.
Mr. Baker was born in Jenkins, KY on November 10, 1930 to the late Bessie M. Phipps Baker and Robert Patton Baker. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert P. Baker, Jr.
He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era. He retired from Wall Products where he worked as a salesman for approximately 20 years. Billy was a member of Fenwick Island Baptist Church.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Peggy S. Baker of Fenwick Island, DE; two children, Brenda Joyce Morgan and her husband Kevin of Centreville, MD and Jay H. Baker and his wife Ginger of Westminster, MD. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Tony and Tammy Morgan, Dale Ann Mitchell, Drew and Casey Baker, Lisa and Zach Hinton, Ashli and Brandon Johnson and Shannon Morgan as well as six great grandchildren.
A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.
