Billy Gray Johnson, known to many as BJ was called home to heaven Friday, January 27, 2017 at his residence.
Born September 12, 1963 in Seaford , Delaware he was the son of the late Billy Hargett and Vida Hitchens Ayers.
He was 1982 graduate of the Cape Henlopen High School.
In his young adult life he fathered two daughters, Dishonda and Ashlee. Billy was united in marriage twice thereafter to his first union Brienna was born.
Billy had many talents, he was a skilled carpenter, who could also build. He could also do plumbing and electrical work, these are just to name a few.
He had a passion for driving 18 wheeler trucks as well as dump trucks. These attributes made him very popular and well known by many.
Bill was a loving and caring man who was smooth with his conversations, a move maker and fine as wine.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories his father, Milton Thomas Ayers of Millsboro, De., three children Dishonda Yvette Boyer (Millsboro, De) Ashlee Rene Savage (Bridgeville, De) Brienna Theya Wildy (Lewes, De) Nine grandchildren, Joshua, Ja'Riah, Terreana, Ta'Keah all of (Millsboro, De.) Zaeden, Zymere both (Bridgeville, De). Ma'Niyah, Jeremiah, Braydin all from (Lewes, De.) A very special family member that he considered as a sister Robin Harris (Frederica, De) an a numerous amount of extended relatives and friends.
A funeral service and celebration of his life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 12:00 noon, Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. 4th Street in Lewes, Delaware with Reverend George Edwards officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM for visitation. Interment will be held private.
