Bryan Keith Parsons' Obituary
Bryan Keith Parsons, age 60, of Georgetown, DE., passed away at Einstein Medical Center surrounded by family members on February 17, 2023.
Bryan was born at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford, DE., to Herman B. Parsons Jr and Greta Jean (Houck) Parsons of Fort Myers Florida.
He was preceded in death by each of his grandparents, Herman B Parsons Sr., Elizabeth (Torbert) Parsons, Loren William Houck, and Coreine (Hart) Houck all of Millsboro.
In addition to his parents, Bryan is survived by his sisters, Debbra K. Parsons of Salisbury, MD., and Kathy Parsons Sanchez of Georgetown, DE., his 4 children Natalie Parsons of Frankford, DE; Katelin and Brianna Parsons of Seaford, DE and Bryan Parsons, Jr. of Georgetown, DE. Bryan also had 5 stepchildren who loved him. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Liam, Braeden, Skylar, and Kinsley, along with his wife Kimberly Powell Parsons as well as a large extended family who will miss him tremendously.
Bryan attended Sussex Central High School. After that, he worked very hard to support his family. He was well liked and had a way of making you feel comfortable. He always shared a kind word, a smile, or a joke just like his father which made you feel special. When speaking to his children they describe him as “the Rock” of the family who was loving, loyal, honest, and willing to help anyone in need.
When he wasn’t working, he loved to go fishing and he was probably the Miami Dolphins #1 fan.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Everyone who loved Bryan is welcome to attend.
In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to “The gift of Life House in Philadelphia Pennsylvania”. The Howie House gives room and board to transplant patient families at a nominal cost, so they can stay close to their ill family member. https://giftoflifehowieshouse.org401 Callowhill Street, Philadelphia PA 19123
