Carol Ann (Hunt) Appler's Obituary
Carol Ann (Hunt) Appler, 75, of Millsboro, DE, passed away at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, DE, on July 20, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1950, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Joseph Hunt and Rosalie Hunt Tinanoff.
Carol met the love of her life, Charles Joseph Appler, Jr., at a bus stop, and after that first meeting, she called her mother and confidently said she would marry him one day. Her prediction came true, and the two shared a beautiful life together—63 years by each other’s side and 53 wonderful years of marriage.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joanne Hunt. Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Joseph Appler, Jr.; their son, Jacob Issac Appler, and his wife, Melissa; and her beloved granddaughter, Jenna Appler, who brought her endless joy.
Carol’s life was defined by love, family, and the deep bond she shared with those dearest to her. She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and the warmth she brought to every life she touched.
