Obituary of Mrs. Carol C. McCue Conway
Carol McCue Conway worked for Beebe Healthcare in Medical Records for 17 years. She was 66 years old, formerly of Mahopac, NY, and residing currently in Harbeson, DE. She was a devoted mother of four, and was a beloved sister, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born March 13, 1949 to the late Gordon and Lois Maxfield. Taken too soon after a battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 - she was surrounded loved ones. She loved spending time with family and shopping with her granddaughter. She was an avid reader. Carol is survived by her 91 year old mother, her sons: Shawn McCue and his wife Dawn, whom she lived with; and Brian, and his wife Rebecca; Kyle and Christopher Conway. Also granddaughters: Lucille McCue; Jessica Donovan; grandsons: Carter and Owen McCue and great-grandson: Marqus Donovan; a sister: Leslie Maxfield; a brother: Gordon Maxfield; a nephew: Joseph Cloughly, and a sister and brother-in-law Janice and Bill Cloughly, along with many cousins and friends. She was preceded by the love of her life, Edward J. McCue, whom she will be with forever in her eternal life. A viewing and calling hours will be held at Watson Funeral Home; 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro, DE on Monday, September 14, from 5 PM till 7 PM.
Interment is private in New York with the family only. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to: The ALS Foundation for Life; P.O.
