Obituary of Mr. Charles Allen Rakes:
Charles Allen Rakes, of Millsboro, DE passed away in the care of Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after putting up a good and courageous fight from a prolonged illness. He was 55 years old, born on August 31, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland to Donald and JoAnn List Rakes. He was a machinist by profession, but became disabled for several years. He had a wonderful, frank relationship with his family, especially his mother being able to be blunt with each other, but loving. He loved cars, and could fix anything. In addition to his parents, he is survived by many friends, and his beloved canine friend "Annie." A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Monday, September 12, 2016 with a calling hour for visitation from 11:00 AM till Noon. Pastor Mike Ruth will officiate. Interment arrangements are private.
