Charlotte Ann Emery's Obituary
Charlotte Ann Emery, 76 of Millsboro, DE left this earthly world to be with the lord on September 12, 2020.
Charlotte was born October 9, 1943 to Charles H. Thompson, Sr. and Elizabeth M. Thompson.
Charlotte grew up amid a very busy, family owned business which, operated in Camden De, for many years. Soon she ventured off into the working world where she worked for Perry's Steak House in Dover for almost 25 years until her retirement in 1977.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Clarence C. Thompson and Charles H. Thompson, Jr., both of Dover.
She is survived by her son, Jimmie D. Emery Jr. (Laura) of Illinois and a daughter, Sherry L. Barker (Terry) of Missouri. She was graced with four grandchildren, Jason Emery (April), Branden Emery (Stephanie), Bridget Emery (Alex), all of Illinois, and Angellea' Shockley (Ken) of Florida.
She was blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Vance, Cameron, Zoey, Teagan, and Gracelynn.
She is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth "Marlene" Miller of Delaware and Alice Whitaker (Stanley) of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
No services were held at this time. The family plans to hold a private celebration of her life.
