The Delaware Tech TRIO Community, Upward Bound, UB Math & Science Center and Educational Talent Search will fondly remember Greenie for all his many years of service. He was a true gem, a gentleman, and a great friend to TRIO.
Lewis was a good friend and a fine cousin, We enjoyed many occasions together but most importantly our early Sunday morning phone calls to each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this most difficult time.COUSIN Benny and wife Diane.
About 1 year ago I met Jo and Greenie. They were the nicest people ever. My best memory of Mr. Greene was last year. It was 2:30 in the morning when I heard a truck horn blowing. It went on for about 5 mins. I looked out of the window and saw Mr. Greene looking under the hood of his truck. I got up and went over to him and he said his alarm was going off and he could not get it to stop. I told him that I could turn it off and find the cause later in the morning. I pulled the horn fuse and it went off. We both laughed and went back to bed. The next morning I went over to help him and he said he found the cause of the problem. The tailgate was not closed completely. He and Jo took my husband and I out to dinner for helping them. We had a wonderful time. He will always have a special place in my heart and will surely be missed. Love and prayers go out to Jo and his family.
