Constance Ann Henry's Obituary
Constance Ann Henry, 77, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Seaford, Delaware. She was born on snowy February 17, 1947, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and was the first born daughter of Chester and Lucille (Lineaweaver) Behney.
A gifted artist, Constance was a classically trained opera singer and carried a lifelong passion for music and the performing arts. She found great joy in singing and found many ways to share that love: acting in theater and opera company productions, teaching voice lessons, using her talents to inspire, uplift, and bring beauty to those around her.
Constance lived a life rooted deeply in faith, compassion, and service to others. Her faith was not only central to who she was, but also her calling. She served as a worship leader in her church for many years, sharing her love of God through music and ministry. Alongside her late husband, Paul Henry, Constance worked tirelessly in ministry, counseling and supporting families in crisis and opening their home and hearts to foster children in need.
Constance was preceded in death by her father, Chester Behney, and her devoted husband, Paul Henry, with whom she shared a life of faith, service, and love. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca J.H. Fields, her son-in-law Darren Fields and six grandchildren: Alexander, Justin, Jerome, Carlos, Cherish and Carmelo.
A celebration of life will be arranged in Pennsylvania for a springtime date.
