Obituary of Mr. David L. Bauerle, Sr. David L. Bauerle, Sr. ""Dave"" of Georgetown passed away on October 17, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old. He was born on January 26, 1940 to the late John and Florence Mahon Bauerle in Joliet, Illinois. He was a retired service technician with Delmarva Power, and had also served in the Delaware National Guard. He was a Charter Captain on the ""Sail Fish."" He loved hunting, fishing, and loved the water, he was a true Sussex County Waterman. He also liked gardening. He is survived by his wife, Carol, who he married on July 19, 1959 in Wilmington, DE. They raised three children, who survive him: Donna Scully, and her husband, James; Suzanne Foraker, and husband, Chris; and David, Jr., and his wife Bonnie. He has 6 grandchildren: Stephanie Scully; James Scully, III; Michael Scully; Lauren Foraker; Emily Foraker; and Madison Bauerle. He will be missed by many other extended family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved canine friends, ""Rascal"" and ""Missy."" Dave was preceded by his only brother, Thomas, in 1980. All services and interment are private. The family wishes to extend a special ""thank you"" to Dawn, the hospice nurse, and to Mary, the hospice aide, and to Chaplain Mariam.
