David Kyle Lewis' Obituary
David Kyle Lewis of Millsboro, DE passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. He was 71 years old.
David was born on November 1, 1950, in Champaign, IL to the late Robert and Betty (Ditzler) Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia (Ray) Hoffman.
David had worked, as a truck driver, for Schneider before happily retiring. He loved to travel our beautiful country with his wife and dog Birdie. David served his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Air Force. David was a wise mentor to many young Christians.
He is survived by his wife Dawn (Dukes) of 14 years. They had so many wonderful adventures together.
He is also survived by one sister, Deborah Brandon, and two brothers, Robert (Jan) and Charles (Leslie), two step-daughters, Meghan Shoemaker and Kristin (Richard) Dondarski as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
