Obituary for Ms. Deanna S. Bratton
Deanna S. Bratton, 76, of Dagsboro, Delaware departed this life at home on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Born on February 3, 1941 in Millsboro, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Emerson Leroy and Martha S. Bivens.
Deanna was a domestic worker for many years. She enjoyed Fishers original popcorn and Boardwalk fries. She was known for having an acquired taste for what she wanted and nothing else would do.
She was also a devoted wife to the late Sylvester S. Bratton and loving mother to her children. In addition to her husband and parents, Deanna was preceded in death by four brothers.
Deanna will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Deanna is survived by her children; Wanda B. Wyatt and husband Clarence, Jeffrey F. Bratton; Patrick O'Brian Bratton and wife Queen Ella; Geraldine D. Matthews and husband Leroy; and Alfred T. Bratton and wife Vanessa. One brother; Denver S. Bivens, Sr. and wife Reva, sister- in- law; Rachel Bivens; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , extended family and friends whom she loved dearly.
