Dennis Lee Tripp, III's Obituary
Mr. Dennis Lee Tripp, III of Georgetown, DE passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at the A.I. DuPont Hospital for Children. He was 13 years old.
Dennis Lee was born in Lewes, DE on December 8, 2003 to Dennis L. Tripp, Jr. and Heather Edgens.
He was a 7th grade student at the Millsboro Middle School. He loved video games, matchbox cars, army men, bike riding and swimming in the pool. He had always had in interest in paintball, fishing, hiking, and going to the zoo. He had also loved history, talking about the weather and eating as much steak as he could. Dennis Lee was a beautiful, compassionate, sweet soul. His presence will be profoundly missed.
He is survived by his father, Dennis Lee Tripp, Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn of Ft. Benning, GA; his mother, Heather Edgens and her husband Scotty of Georgetown, DE; two sisters, Rebecca Tripp and Kylie Edgens of Georgetown, DE and a brother, Trent Tripp of Ft. Benning, GA. He is also survived by paternal grandparents, Dennis Tripp and Wanda Wright of Millsboro, and maternal grandparents, Fern and Gil Kester of Millsboro, DE. He is also survived by many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Baywood Greens, 32267 Clubhouse Way, Long Neck, DE 19966. Visitation begins at 3:00 PM with the service beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Dennis Lee's memory to the Dennis Tripp Memorial Fund, c/o Millsboro Middle School, 302 E. State St., Millsboro, DE 19966.
