DOLORES IRENE MITCHELL's Obituary
Mrs. Dolores I. Mitchell, ""Dee"", of Millsboro, DE passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Beebe Medical Center. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Plains, PA on January 27, 1927 to the late John and Mary Sekerak Fitz. She worked in various factories over the years before her retirement. She was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Millsboro, DE. Dee loved flowers and loved making artificial arrangements. She enjoyed going out with her husband, her friends and her family. She was especially close to her grandson Tim Minshall. Dee was as good as they come, very caring and always putting others needs before her own. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Charles ""Sonny"" Mitchell of Millsboro, DE; one daughter, Doris I. Minshall of Millsboro, DE; two step-daughters, Patricia Graham Gombos of Claymont, DE and Colleen Strickland of MS; one sister, Verna Parduski of GA; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends. A viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Mary Mother of Peace Roman Catholic Church, at the intersection of Mt. Joy Rd and Rt. 24, Millsboro, DE 19966. The burial will follow in the St. George's Episcopal Church Cemetery, 20274 Beaver Dam Rd, Harbeson, DE 19951.
