DONALD T HEATH, SR's Obituary
Mr. Donald T. Heath, Sr. of Dagsboro, DE passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 29, 2104. He was 76 years old. Mr. Heath was born in Lowery, AL on January 4, 1938 to the late Fannie Ward Heath. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill McCormick and James Monroe Heath. Donald was a Project Manager for General Transervice, Inc., where he designed aircraft re-fuelers. He traveled all over the world, Middle East, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Dubai and Germany where he taught refueling. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, 101ST Airborne, Berlin Airlift.He was a member of the Bethel Fire Co in PA, Masonic lodge #31 AF & AM; Delaware Mobile Surf Fisherman's Assoc.; and the American Legion. He "loved to fish". He was known to be firm but fair and outspoken and would help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lois Heath; a son, Donald T. Heath, Jr. and his wife Karen; three brothers, Daniel Marshall and his wife Jennifer, Cleo Heath and his wife Reba, and Mack David McCormick, two sisters, Janice Seber and her husband Ron, Mavis Ross and her husband Steve, sister-in-law, Pat Moore, grandsons, Donald T. Heath, III and Derek T. Heath as well as two loyal friends, Joe Pastore and Jack Hoylman. A viewing and visitation will be held from 11:30 - 1:30 on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro DE. A chapel service with conferring of military honors will follow at 2:00 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Shriners, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, 33607 or the Salvation Army.
