Obituary Of Mr. Donald G. Leyden
Mr. Donald G. Leyden of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was 93 years old.
Donald was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Ida Leyden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Theresa in 2013 as well as two brothers John and Chris Leyden.
He was a veteran who served in the United States Army and then worked as Central Islip State Hospital in New York as a Central Supply Technician for 35 years.
Donald is survived by his five children, Colleen Sandler (Jeff), Donald Leyden (Renee), Billy Leyden (Barbara) Edward Leyden and Christina Leyden. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for viewing and visitation. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Milford/ Harrington Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Donald's memory to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka KS 66675-8516.
