Obituary of Dorothy Ann Chmielewski: Dorothy Ann Chmielewski, 86, of Millsboro, DE passed away at Atlantic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Millsboro, DE on March 17, 2014. Born on Jan. 1, 1928, in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Eva Elbert Wnukowski. She was a graduate of the New York School of the Arts, and was the Art Planning Director of Norcross Greeting Card Company in her working years. She was a member of the Millsboro Art League; the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society; the Rehoboth Art League, and the Ocean City Art League. She loved art and especially watercolor painting. She was a sharp, witty and vibrant lady who loved gatherings with family and friends. Dorothy simply loved life, and was spunky and fun to be around. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Edmund J. Chmielewski in 1998. She is survived by three children: Paul J. Chmielewski of Millsboro, DE; Joanne C. Subach, and her husband Francis X., of Millsboro, DE; and John A. Chmielewski, of Denver, PA. She is also survived by grand-daughters Kori-Allyn Chmielewski; and Alexandra Marie Chmielewski, both of Endwell, NY. She also leaves behind extended family members and many friends across the northeast. A time of visitation will be held at 11:00 AM at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE on Saturday, March 22, 2014 with a Memorial Service at 12 noon officiated by Rev. James Van Der Wall. Interment will be private at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery at a later time.
