I have just learned of Doug’s passing. While we hadn’t been in contact since college I am so sorry to all of the family for their loss. Doug was such an important part of my life starting college. My thoughts are with all of you.

I have not seen my uncle Doug in a very long time, 15+ years. I fondly remember staying at my grandpa Jeff and grandma Irene’s house during the summer and all of us sitting around the dinner table having dinner together and playing board games after. I’ll forever cherish those memories ❤️

Doug cared for my husband after he was diagnosed with a neurological disorder. In fact, I would say that Doug cared for both of us. He was an amazing human and a talented therapist; he practiced his craft with great compassion. Doug nurtured both the physical and emotional health of his patients as well as their families. The world was better for having him in it; he will be sorely missed.
Sarah, Doug spoke with such love about you and your children; his family was the joy of his life.
