EDWARD ROHLFING's Obituary
Mr. Edward C. Rohlfing of Millsboro, DE passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was 95 years old.
Mr. Rohlfing was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 25, 1925 to the late Edward K. and Florence Johnson Rohlfing. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by two children and two siblings.
He worked as a Mechanic for WaWa Dairy and also was a used car salesman. Ed was a U.S. WWII Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 28, and also a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Georgetown, DE. He collected trains, liked buying and selling from yard sales and buying and selling cars.
Ed is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Jane Rohlfing of Millsboro, DE, ten children:
Ed Rohlfing (Lillian) of Georgetown, DE, Sally Irvin of PA, Mary Weaver (Bob) of PA, Helen Pace (Tom) of Georgetown, DE, Joan Smith of Millsboro, DE, William Rohlfing (Becky) of Harbeson, DE, Gene Rohlfing ( Sheila) of Georgetown, DE, Rose West (Pat) of Millsboro, DE, Larry Rohlfing (Lisa) of Georgetown, DE, Florie Milligan of Harrington, DE, three step children: Beverly Hendrickson (J.W.) of KY, Art Latham (Karen) of Ellendale, DE and Junell Latham (Tom) of Millsboro, DE. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as extended family members and friends.
Due to the State of Emergency and Corona Virus conditions services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Paralyzed and Disabled Veterans of America, 801 Eighteenth Street NW, Washington, DC 20006.
