OBITUARY OF ELIZABETH A. CARPENTER
Elizabeth R. Carpenter of Pittsville, MD passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was 93 years old.
She was born on February 16, 1927 in Selbyville, DE to the late Dalaney and Edna Bunting. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Edward Carpenter in 1976 as well as two brothers Oscar and Merrill.
Elizabeth was a poultry farmer and later worked for Showell Poultry until her retirement. She was a very hard worker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, taking care of her family and loved cats and dogs.
She is survived by two sons, David A. Carpenter of Delmar, DE and Charles E. Carpenter (Joy Clark) also of Delmar, DE. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren with one on the way as well as one great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Line United Methodist Church, where friends may call from 11 am - 12 Noon for viewing and visitation. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In accordance with the COVID 19 restrictions masks and social distancing will be required.
