ELLEN NOREEN KELTY's Obituary
Ellen Noreen Kelty, 76, of Millsboro, DE died peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at home.
Noreen was born in Hoboken, NJ. She was the daughter of Charles V. Kelty and Helen Flynn Kelty. She graduated from St. Dominic Academy in Jersey City, NJ. Noreen worked as an executive secretary for Melvyn J. Huber in New York City for many years. She relocated to Middletown Township, NJ and worked in the payroll department of International Flavors and Fragrances from which she retired in 1999. Relocating again, she has been a resident of Millsboro, DE for 16 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Paul V. Kelty. She is survived by her loving and devoted sister, Kathleen B. Kelty, also of Millsboro, her sister-in-law Lois Dougherty of Chattahoochee, FL, her nieces, Katy Dougherty of Midway, FL, her great niece Meagan Alysse Dougherty of Tallahassee, FL, her niece Molly McDaniel and husband Jonathan of Marianna, FL., three great nephews Zackary, Tanner, and Connor McDaniel, her God daughter, Donna Christian Aiden Valentino of New York City, NY and many loving cousins and dearest friends.
A viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 202 Edwards St, Georgetown, DE 19947. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
