EMMA IRLENE ALEXANDER's Obituary
Ms. Emma Irlene Alexander of Millsboro, DE passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence. She was 74 years of age.
She was born on September 11, 1941 in Dover, DE. Ms. Alexander attended school at the Rose Valley School in her youth. She retired after 25 years as a baker for Hardee's.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. Regular family gatherings and dinners were expected. Ms. Alexander will be remembered for her open heart and home to all in need and giving love and hugs to those who didn't have it. For this gift of caring, she was considered mom to many.
In addition to cooking and baking, hobbies included homemaking and gardening.
Ms. Alexander is survived by four daughters, Mary Brown (Daryl), Elsie Goslee (Wayne), Renee Alexander (fiancé Kenny Wilson) and Polly Reynolds; one son, Nelson Alexander (Teresa); eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Carey's Cemetery, Millsboro.
