Erma Jean Clark, 73, of Selbyville, Delaware, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. Born on May 26, 1951, in Seaford, Delaware, she was the beloved daughter of the late Oliver and Esther (Short) Toomey.
On June 26, 1971, Erma married the love of her life, Levin A. Clark, Sr., beginning a devoted and joyful union. A dedicated homemaker, she found her greatest happiness in the love and laughter shared with her family. Whether cherishing time with her husband, raising her children, or doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Erma’s heart and home were always full of love.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Levin A. Clark, Sr.; her parents, Oliver and Esther Toomey; and her brothers, Paul and Joe Toomey.
She is survived by her loving children: Jeff Clark (Dannette), Billy Clark (Amy), Tammy Clark, and Levin A. Clark, Jr.; her cherished grandchildren: Adam Clark (Deanna), Justin Clark (Chelsea), Karrah Reed (Tim), Logan Clark, and Katie Clark; and her precious great-grandchildren: Brooklynn Clark, Kaya Clark Waylon Reed, and Nolan Reed. She is also survived by her brother, Charlie Toomey; her sister, Bonnie Rogers; and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
A funeral service honoring Erma’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium in Millsboro, DE. Friends and family are invited to a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Redman Memorial Cemetery in Dagsboro, DE.
Erma’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
