EVELYN HUDSON's Obituary
Evelyn L. Hudson, of Millsboro, De passed away on Friday, November, 16, 2012. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Hudson was born on October 16, 1929 in Berlin, Maryland to the late Levin and Lina J. Murray Baker. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Halton M. Hudson in 2005 and a granddaughter, Karla Raye Simpson. She worked for the Millsboro High School as a cafeteria worker for about 15 years and she also worked in the kitchen of Green Valley Terrace and Maple Grove nursing homes. She attended the Millsboro Wesleyan Church. She was a ""homebody"". She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always put her family first. She is survived by a son, Halton M. Hudson and his wife Debra of Millsboro, DE; daughter, Linda Appling and her husband Douglas of Dagsboro, DE; half sister, Beatrice Hudson of Dagsboro, DE, grandchildren, Jeff and Jessica Hudson of Millsboro, Brad and Katie Hudson of Milford, Brian Hudson of Millsboro, and Kevin and Kim Cooper of Millsboro; and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call one hour prior. Pastor Chuck Reynolds will officiate. The interment will follow at Carey's Cemetery in Frankford, Delaware.
