My second mom! When Eve walked into my store after 3 years being open, and sat down in my office, responding to an add I was running for my first desperately needed Office Manager, I asked her where she had moved down here from. She replied, "Forestville, Maryland". And I said, "Oh yea, where in Forestville?" She replied, "Fernwood Mobile Home Park". Once again, I said, "Oh yea, where in Fernwood mobile home park?" She replied, "At the bottom of the hill". I again replied, "Oh yea, I lived at the top of Fernwood Mobile Home Park - you're hired!" Eve came to my rescue out of knowhere! Our connection was meant to be from the beginning. Devine Intervention! As I had recently moved to this area as a single father with 6 and 11 year old daughters, Eve was there for me through thick and thin. She was God Sent! Not only did she make it her mission to help me with my new business, that I knew barely anything about, she was there to help me with raising my two girls, which I didn't know too much about as well. Without any concern for herself and nothing but concern for others, because that's who she was, we all grew together as a family business, without really being blood family. Most people have heard the phrase "blood is thicker than water". What most people don't know is what this phrase means. It as nothing to do with your family. It means "The blood of the Covenant is thicker than the water of the womb". Family blood has nothing to with it. That's what made us more of a family than most blood families. "The Blood of the Covenant" we shared. I have always looked upon Eve as though she was my second mom. She was and is still loved, and always will be. Eve will be missed by me and I am sure by others. Our loss, His gain! Love you Mom.May the Lord bless you and keep you.May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.May He lift you up His Countenance upon you and give you peace, now and forever more.Michael
